Checking In

This is my first time blogging since moving into the new home.  It has exceeded our expectations.  No major catastrophes like leaking faucets, showers, ruined dry wall, structural errors etc.  We have one squeaky nail coming out of our bedroom that we'll have fixed at the 30-day and a pilot light in the fireplace that was a bit too high, so we turned it off.  Everything else has been great.

We are still settling in.  I don't even have all of my clothes in yet, but things are starting to settle down.  We're watering our grass like crazy hoping for green life to pop up soon.  The weather could not be more perfectly timed for growing.

Our kids love the new house and neighborhood.  So many of us moved in last week.  We all came out with the nice weather to meet one another and all the kids are raising heck in the yards.  It is a joy to watch as a parent even if there is an occasional broken solar light or invisible fence flag pulled out of the ground.

We even got a chance to take a stroll on one of the trails in our neighborhood last week that runs along the main lake.  Beautiful!

We could not be more pleased.  Our experience with Ryan Homes has been excellent so far.

  1. Happy to hear your family is settling in so well! Yes, it's a good time to get a healthy start on your lawn even if the water company is loving you for it :)
