A few pictures, finally!

Well, it is a work in progress, but here are pics of some of the rooms. Nowhere near complete! No pictures hung yet, but it will give you an idea! We STILL love it! Had our 30 day yesterday and it went well. Our PM even moved our swing set for us because it was in the way of drainage and they need to re-route the drainage due to lots of standing water and mud. Will post an update once the repairs are done, there were not many.

For whatever reason I forgot to take a good picture of the couches in the family room! I will update the pics tonight.

Enjoy!

Another outside view (working hard on our grass!)

Master bedroom with ceiling fan and things that still need to be unpacked

Guest bedroom (can't see the fan, but it's same as the kids' rooms)

  7. Hi Elise, thank you for sharing the pictures!! First, I love the shades in the morning room. You have me rethinking my window treatments. AND I can really appreciate your dining room too. I love how you were able to have a long wall to include a huge china cabinet. The dining room set is really cute too!! You are on a ROLL!!

  9. I just realize you posted pics! It all looks great! I really like the morning room. Can I ask what width did you get your window shades in? I know the lengths vary but the widths seem to be the same throughout. I think I'm measuring 34" wide. Is that what you guys found?

    1. That sounds right and we went with 33". We had Lowes come out to measure for us since we ordered a ton of the wrong sized treatments for JCPenny! Then they choose the best fit or you can customize.

  10. Thanks for sharing the pics! You are all settled in now. I love the cellular shades in the morning room too! That is what I plan on putting up. Do they only adjust up or can you adjust them down as well?

Did you have to custom order?

    1. We didn't do the top down, I always worry about it looking goofy! We didn't have to custom but it is not the exact measurement but you'd never know. It was also much cheaper! You can go with the custom ones though. Lowes also has a great installation deal, $99 for up to 10 blinds.

  11. Your house looks so cozy and organized that I wanna live in there. Haha! The morning room is my favorite, but the other parts of the house are equally lovely. Where did you get the inspiration and ideas in the design? It's not just a house. It's a home. Wonderful job, Elise! Alejandra Hutchcraft

    1. Hi Alejandria,
You are saying true. I really agreed with you. It's also true that spending vacation in Zimbabwe is really so pleasant to see. If you want to visit for Zimbabwe wildlife tours with great adventure then go through it.
